New 100 gallon Tank set up

I currently have a 40 breeder, I just bought a juvenile Emperor Angel and I know I need to upgrade within a year. I am really stuck between a 100g or 150g but it will depend on the situation. I am going to turn my 40 breeder into a hospital tank and us my old 30g tall for a sump. I have a API Nexx filter with extension which will filtrate 150 gallons of water but I am going to add another, you can never have enough filtration. Now the question is what other equipment would you recommend to set up my FOWL setup. The other question is can I add latter when I upgrade a dwarf angel with my emperor angel?

I would go with the 150g or preferably larger (most large angels need 180g+ tanks and I believe that the Emperor Angel needs a 220g + aquarium... Sorry).
I would do the largest sump you could fit under the new larger tank... I would suggest like a 75g. And add as much filtration as you can get in there. You would need a large protein skimmer, a lot of LR and plenty of flow. With a large tank (220g +) I would think that you could get away with a dwarf angel and the Emperor.

I think I will go with a 150 then, I will buy a bigger tank to add as a sump. It will take me a couple of months but in the long run my fish will be happier. I have always wanted a clown hosting an anemone in my tank but am afraid with the angel in the tank and lighting prices. I want large angel, dwarf angel and a yellow tang with clown.

An anemone and hosted clown is truly one of the great sights in saltwater fishkeeping, but I agree that the price of lighting for a tank is prohibitive unless you can mortgage the house. As you put your system together, be sure to consider heat as a design factor. As far as possible, use inline pumps rather than submerged. It is more work at the beginning to drill and install sump bulkheads, but you will eliminate heat transfer, and I can tell you that my experience with submerged pumps on my 220 system is that you can easily boil an egg
if you don't add cooling. That can mean $700 or more for a chiller (which requires another pump, with more heat!). Having graduated from a 110 to the 220 I learned that it isn't just a matter of bigger, but the demands are different when you get into tanks of that size.
