Haven't posted anything lately so here it goes. Ordered an RO/DI about 7 months ago. Added a water saver kit and a pump to boost my pressure up. Need to change the filters already though. Go through 7-8 gallons a week.
Finally got the lights going. Got 10k 400w MH going with the 4- 54w T5HO Actinics. Thought it would be too much blue but it really wasn't. Next time I order bulbs I will get the 14k. Reflectors are pretty much home made. I went to a LFS and they were selling a couple of flat reflectors. I got some small pieces of wood and put a few bends in them to get them rounded to give off more lights. All I have in there so far as I am not finish yet is a Cromis Damsel. Niger Triger, Engineer Goby, Zebra Eel (almost 4ft long) and my CUC.
Live rocks are just thrown in there. Still have to figure out where I am going to put them. May need more.
Sump and refugium have to be worked on. I guess I should of listened when they said silicon wont stick to acrylic and glass to well. Lasted about 8 months and the baffles are coming apart. Going to pull it out and replace it with glass instead.

Hey, nice build!
I like the tunnel idea for the eel, that was pretty cool.
So let me get this strait because it's kind of hard to tell from the pics...On your 2 1-1/2 drain lines, it looks like they run down behind the tank and then are they connected via a "T" underneath the tank into one line and then back to two or is one just right behind the other and I can't tell because of the picture?
Also are you running one return pump or two? It kind of looks like maybe you have some 1" return line for two of the returns and then something else for the return that goes under the substrate...3/4" maybe???
I think it came out real nice, I like how you made the canopy to with the vents and all.

No. Its two seperate lines going to my sump. One of those lines breaks off to my refugium tank.

I have 1 return pump that goes to my corner return lines. The line under my sand is on a closed loop system. I had to go on a closed loop in case power went out my whole tank would drain to my floor.
