New 175 comparison

Unedited Comparison of lighting. My camera isn;t the greates but it is a huge visual difference.

When I switched to MH, I was astounded at the difference. You can change the look of the color by a different Kelvin degree bulb.
What kind of bulbs are you using?

I bought a couple of used ones to test out the colors, the left side is under 6,500k the right side is a Sunburst 14000k I think I want something in between, When I buy new ones I'll get 10k's

what wattage of bulb and ballast did you finally decide on?

I bought a pair of 175 watt MH's, I figured If they were bright enough then I'd just sell em off and get 400's. But I like them plenty enough, So I'll stick with them and when I get into some of the higher light corals I'll upgrade.
