NEW 180 NOW WHAT??

Hi all, :hi:I have enjoyed following the discussions on this forum. I am hoping for some answers that won't make me tear down the new tank and start over, but here is my problem. I was SO excited to get a 180m off of Craigslist including stand, lights and about $500 worth of live rock. I called the LFS and worked out with him to have it moved. When he set it up in my bedroom I did not think to check for level. DUH! Realized it was not level after filling it with $80 of saltwater. To give you an idea of the level, when it is topped out at the left front corner the right back corner is an inch lower. Am I going to come home to a flooded floor and broken tank one day? The tank is very thick glass, 6ft long. The tank stand is basically particle board with an oak look veneer. What do you wise people out there think?

The room that my tank is in has a horribly unlevel floor. So did my last house. (I also have a 180). I have my tank shimmed, and have done so in the past without any issues.

WELCOME to the site!
My 56g column tank read level until I filled it. Now it is 1/4 off high in the front, I left it be and watch it to make sure it stays and does not continue to dip it's been a while so I think it's okay. I don't know about a 180g, that's pretty large. I think I would shim it up like BTLDreef does, since you just have water in it...save the water...

i would think if the lfs was hired to move and set up your tank, they would have made sure it was level.
I would shim it before you pop the seams.

Seaver your water and get the Lfs to come back to finish the job. They should have shimmed it to start with.
