New 2.5 gallon

Hey everyone. I'm gonna start up a 2.5 gallon with a few small inverts and LPS's. I know, a tank that small is hard to handle because evaporation can cause huge swings in water quality and salinity. My question is about lighting. I have a balast for a 9 watt PC. Should that be enough light for what I want or do i need to go bigger?

what bulb and how long? manufacturer? i have a 3g pico i run an odysea PC light w/ LED moon lights and it works on my 2 SPS. So your probably okay..... i run the 50/50 bulb.
