greysin...yes that is the filter...does an excellent job. had it on 3 different tanks now and still works great.

puffer----yeah I had a crapload of stuff to take out of my 180, and this tank had benn up and running for over a year, so no cycle and instant reef like u said...it is in my bedroom...makes a nice nightlight...

Fyi I have learned something about decorator crabs, anything that looks like a mushroom, or is one, that means anemones, mushrooms, and rics, are a decorators favorite food, my mushrooms grow, get eaten, regrow, over and over. I almost kill him if he even looks at my anemone.

Nah I'm just kiddin Reef, but it's a hippo.... the only thing close to lookin like that is the yellowtail damsel... but it's not. BTW, Zano and Joncat.. nice tanks

nemo---I got the tank,light, sand,filters, and heater for $100
added the live rock for $20
all the corals came from my other tank except for a few frags...
all in all I would guess around $175 in the whole setup---got lucky

gina- I am not sure exactly what type sand it is. I got the tank from a friend, I believe it it aragalive mixed black and white.
efishnsea---I wish I had some of your massive rics colonies...give me some more time...LOL
