New 200 Gal tank!!

Hello,
I just bought a new 200Gal tank + 70gal sump :) almost died twice yesterday trying to get it through the stairs with 4 other guys to my first floor apartment. The crazy things we do for fish :)
Its dimensions are 180cm x 60cm x 70cm. The tank is beautiful and I am migrating all my living things from my 90 to this in the next 1-2 weeks.
I will post pics soon.
I have a question, to test the tank for any leakage/bad manufacturing before I start diving deep into setting it up, is filling 50% of it with fresh water and monitoring it for 1-2 days sufficient?
Any advice is appreciated, also I noticed after finally reaching my home that the glass in one of the corners is slight nipped. The glass is 1.8cm thick, so the nipped part might constitute 0.1 or 0.2cm of the tip of the corner. Is that a reason to be concerned.
Thanks!

fill it all the way up and get the sump working. You may find that your stand is unlevel when your tank is filled, and you will need to put shimms underneath it.
Just pump everything out when your done... then start with RO/DI water...

With large aquariums (180g+) styrofoam actually causes more problems then it solves. One way you can use styrofoam on a large aquarium like this is to lay styro down, and then put plywood on top of the styro. Then set the tank down on the plywood.

I think its too late for that, the tank is already on top of the stand. I would need to get five guys to help me remove it :( I live in an apartment and underneath is all cement, so I am hoping I will have a leveled tank and water level.

that stand is awesome!! is your tank right above a cement subfloor? that would be great if it was! i have my 125 on the first floor of my house, and even though i have a reinforced floor, you can really get the water moving by too much bouncing around. i'm going to fix that when i tear it down to drill it.

Thanks for the comments.
I am having problems setting it up :) there is no manual and the LFS has no experience with it. The plumbing is confusing :( there is only two holes, a big one and a small one...the big drilled hole must be for water coming down, and the small drilled hole is for water pushed back to the tank. The problem i am having is how to connect my return pump to that plain 1" pvc pipe :(

If you don't want to make a hard PVC connection from your return pump to the tank's PVC pipe, they sell flexible PVC tubing (different sizes too), which should make for an easier connection. You can use 3/4" tubing with a coupling for the 1" connection.
