New 24 aquapod diary

Ok, I am going to do a diary also....LOL. Seemes like everyone else is, so I might as well.
I recently sold my 180 and now due to lack of space I have ordered a 24 G aquapod. I always wanted one anyway, but with a 180, I didn't want the maintenance.
I was thinking of a pair of false percs, a sixline wrasse and a royal gramma as a stock list. With a skunk cleaner also. Anyone see a problem with that? I am not used to nano's so I will take all the advise I can get as far as stocking goes.
I will be getting the tank started with water change water from a friend's 120 and 20-30 lbs of live sand and 20 lbs of live rock to start. That way there should be no cycle at all. Basically set it up and wait til it clears up and add fishes and corals.
I will take pics along the way, so we can see how it goes. I am so excited to be back in the tank loop again....LOL

A skumk cleaner is typically called a cleaner shrimp. Pics can be found under invertabrate section under shrimp.

hey i am just curious, on the post from the 21st your tank was JUST mixed and put together. And on the post from the 22nd you have lots of rock and livestock in it. How old is your tank? Did you let it cycle. If you did all this sorry, just trying to help!

Good stock list, but having 4 fish in that tank will mean it is "full" you will not be able to add any more fish than 4. Otherwise that would be too big of a bio-load. Also, instead of having just a skunk shrimp, you can try peppermints, sexy. or even a harlequin! I have 3 peppermint in my 14 and i see them all the time, even though they tend to hide. Sexy shrimp love to hang out in corals. And harlequins look so awesome despite their picky diet. OH, and if you have some hermits or a large snails as your cleaner crew e sure to glue your corals to the reef because the small corals fall over very easily for some reason. Have fun with your new NANO!

Thanks Willy!!! I will get a pick of the gramma today, he has finally stopped hiding in the hole in the rock....lol
Peef- I took all the water, sand and rock from an exiting tank. And the corals came from the same tank, so I should be cycle free. Thanks for your concern though...
