Hello, I recently set up a new 24G Nano Cube, I have 25 lbs of live rock, live sand, 3 Striped Damsel, True Percula Clown, Royal Gramma, Emerald Crab, 5 Blue Leg Hermits, 2 bumblebee snails, 2 Astrea Snails, 1 red finger leather coral and one new Pumping Xenia. Anyways my question is I just purchased the pumping xenia yesterday, it's doing great but it has a bunch of those aiptasia anenomes on the small piece of live rock that it came on, I havent set this on anyother live rock, should I worry about a future outbreak in my tank? I also found a few small bristle worms on it, I caught one and killed it but I can't get a hold of the other one. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Get a couple of peppermint shrimp. They will take care of the aiptasia. Bristle worms are beneficial to the tank. They consume detrius ( I never spell that word right!). If you don't overfeed they shouldn't be a problem. If you do get an outbreak of aiptasia, just kalk it.

thanks for the reply, I took the Pumping Xenia back to the store and bought a different one with 3 pieces on a half clam shell. No Aptasia at all! I've done a lot of research but I'm new to this and don't want anything to go wrong!

I completely understand. Patience is the key to keeping and maintaining a heathly reef. Research everything!! There is a wealth of knowledge both here and on other reef sites.
Good Luck and Happy Cubing!!
