How often do you feed your corals? How often do you do water changes? do you have a skimmer? Sump? Refuge? sorry for asking too many things but Im new to SW and I would like to learn as much as I can before seting up my tank.

Thanks for answering my questions. I have been readin lots about SW tanks for the last couple of months but it seems that there is still a lot to learn. I have been keeping FW fish for the last 2 years and I now feel like it is time time to set up a SW tank. I feel a bit nervous as I often get mixed opinons about how easy or difficult it is to maintain a SW set up. Originally I thought about setting up a 14 gallon Biocube but then after reading lots about SW tanks I decided that a slightly larger tank would be better. The biggest tank i can have right now is a 30 gallon because I do not have much space in my apartment. The 29 gallon Biocube looks very sharp but I hear the lighting is not the best. Therefore I decided to build my own tank. I have all the equipment that I bought from somebody that was leaving the hobby.
The equipment I have so far is:
29 gallon tank
40lbs Live Sand
22lbs Liverock
PC 130 watts
2 power heads
Aquaclear filter
Heater
Hydrometer
Salt
what do you think about my lighting? is it good enough?
Is it hard to feed corals? you just dumped the food in the tank or how do you do it.
cheers

i feed my fish everyday corals dont have to be fed everyday that would be putting a very big bio load i had problems with feeding a frozen mixture. 3 times a week i put in dts live phytoplankton cyclopeeds(cant spell)oyster eggs.my power heads blow the food all around and if your corals are healthy enough they should grab a bite to eat i do spot feed every once in a while some of my frogspawns and my long tentacle plate loves silver sides.sorry hope i made my self clear. with that lighting you can keep a great tank-leathers, zoos are starting to be my pick they are hardy and look awsome, even lps like frogspawn

Do you think that once my SW tank is well established I could have an anemone? As I said before, the lighting is PC 130 watts and the tank is very shallow. 30' Long X 12" Wide X 12" High
cheers

some people on here will tell you its ok everyone has had different experience with diff. animals anemone feed off zooxanthellae comes from your lights and they need strong light if your anemone wants to be on the bottom 130watts of pc wont give him enough metal hailde penatrates cant spell) deeper through water you could even have 70watts metal h. and it will do better. ive done my own projects with anemone my rose anemone splits and put him under 130 watts power c. and didnt do to well.and the same under 70watt metal h. and did alot better. if you really want to and its your decision try it just make sure that what your lacking(lighting)in, make it better for the anemone with perfect water good flow and feed silverside-krill once or twice a week if your anemone is healthy it should take ahold of the foodand bring right down to mouth.
