We got a bicolor blenny yesterday and he is so adorable. He is very personable. He has had a full day today playing and checking out our 6line wrasse, I was worried at first since they were both quite interested in each other but getting along great! So far so good!! Here is a pic of him and then some pictures of our tank again..we have had a few corals added, so enjoy....almost done, maybe another couple of things and then we are letting it all grow and form our tank. we will be getting a small blue tang in about 2 weeks or so ....will be upgrading in a year bigger so I am watching the classifieds!!

You must be talking about the sun polyps, gorgeous at night when they are fully extended, especially after we feed them....they stay in during the day so far, hoping they will come out more, they are very pretty...... :joy:

Hi Vito, sorry I did not see your post quickly....
I have a 90 gallon....130 lbs of rock....RemoraC pro skimmer, Eheim 2217 cannister filter (nitrates have always been zero or trace), 3 1200 maxijets at top with one having a turning attachment in center and 1 900 maxijet down lower left side shooting across back of rocks. I have new lights just purchased and LOVEEEEE them. I started with the coralife 4x65 unit, was ok....switched to the orbit 4x96 and makes the WORLD of difference. All look healthier and gorgeous, the actinic bulbs are by far nicer...bluer crisper and moon lights are white not blue...some may like blue, I actually prefer the white because it looks more real and I can see my rock much clearer at night for checking things out. It is the orbit Extreme I believe.

Your tank is so clean, do you have a clean up crew?? The pics are deceiving as to the size of your tank. I have a 30 gallon and I would have swore your tank was smaller. Mines been up for 3 months also but just snails, hermits, a Nemo and a Scooter Blenny who is happy because I got a HOB refugium and stuffed it full of Macro Algae and the pods are popping now. I was actually bidding on an orbit 36" 196 watt fixture on weBay but lost in the last minute, my cheapo Jebo has worked so far but it's time for corals.

Yes, amazingly I have never had bad algae breakouts or anything....a bit on the back wall I can see that my blenny seems to like....some diatoms on the sand on the left side but nothing much, sometimes afraid my tank is too clean!! We do have a wonderful cleanup crew.
3 turbo snails
50 astreas snails
20 hermits
sally lightfoot crab
2 emerald crabs
they all seem happy, eating away and my tank looks great. Hopefully this will continue....I hear some of the horror stories of the algae building up and can't imagine that yet so hoping it never happens.

Your rock work looks precarious, is it epoxied at all? I would be scared to stack mine like that! :D

I have heard that before, actually it is not glued, but it is incredibly stable. I went with the rule that all rocks have to be sitting on at least 3 others. On the right side, it looks scary over theh cave BUT that piece that makes the bridge is part of a HUGE rock to the right that is sitting steady on three rocks under it....and then goes over to the other side forming the top, which is then sitting on its edge and behind another solid rock. So far so good, I don't think it is going anywhere!!

My tank is fairly new so i'm no expert but just some helpful criticisem. I noticed that you have a bubble wand at the top. I thought the general thought was they shouldn't be needed in a saltwater tank and just cause salt creep? Anyone else have feedback either way on that?

hi!! that is not a bubble wand, it is the filter bar...hehe.....easy to see that it might be........that is the water coming back into the tank.....
