new additions

two weeks ago today I added the first fish to my tank. It has been running for 5 months, was reef, then moved the reef to another tank so this can be aggresive.
I added a Niger and a spotted puffer.
I am going to add either a SFE or a Green Wolf eel today.
I am also going to add one more fish at some point. Would it be okay to add the last fish today also. Or should I wait.
All water paramaters have been at zero except Nitrate at 5.
Fish choices, porc puffer, spiney box puffer, humu humu, or Maroon Clown.
These fish will be in a 125.
all help is appreciated. I am going to the store today.

When you moved the reef, did you leave all the LR in this tank, or did it move with the reef?
IF the tank has been running as is for 5 months, and everything has been good for a couple of weeks, with the fish you added, then I would say that you could probably get away with adding another fish now.
Just keep an eye on the water params for the next week or so.

I added a SFE yesterday. As soon as I put him in the tank he found a rock to hid in. This morning when I checked on him he was swimming around the tank, he would go to his rock for a few minutes, then swim a lap, back to the rock. It looks like he is happy so far. I am going to try to feed him tonight. I have CC as subtrate, will I need to move the rocks and vacume the pooh out from that area. I am planning on 5% water changes weekly. I am also adding a puffer, I wanted a spiney box puffer, but he has been at the store for about 10 days and it was not eating, I am hoping to get a small porc. puffer tonight.

it depends my trigger likes little snails so i got some big mexican turbos like 1 1/4" and he can't get them off of the glass and he doesn't mess with the hermits at all and i have a couple of starfish too a chocolate chip and a brittle i guess it just depends on the triggers taste like he won't eat squid but loves everything else put in there i would stick with the big snails and one type of hermit crab so they don't have a little war and get some extra hermit crab shells too

I do have one turbo in their now, I could not find it when I moved all my reef things to another tank. Wont the CC star hurt the LR? The brittle star is not lunch yet, maybe I will try one of these also. Worst case scenario is they eat well for a day. I am currently feeding them some home made food. I bough a half pound of seafood mix from walmart (shrimp, oysters, claims, octopus, squid) I mixed in a blendor with garlic, they eat it up. My SFE also goes nuts for it. How often should I feed the SFE. I feed the fish about 4-5 times a week, a piece of the mix that is about as bif as a nickle and about a .25-.125 of an inch thick.
Thanks for the choices of inerts, what about a queen conch from this site?

I recently put in 2 dozen Nassarius snails and 3 Tongan fighting conchs in my 110. They promptly dug into the sand rarely to be seen again. They were advertised as great for cleanup but quite honestly I have seen nothing to lend creedance to that. I guess time will tell .

my cc starfish stays on the glass and the snails are on there alot to but i see them all over my cc never goes on the liverock usual on the glass i never heard ofthem hurting liverock. i guess a conch would be alright but i don'thave one and bona42na said they are buried in the sand they are supposed to sift it though. I usualy feed my sfe every 2-3 days he will come out and go nuts around the tank when i feed my other fish so I know he is hungary and i feed the fish 2-3 daily

you feed your fish 2-3 times a day?
Am I under feeding them at 4 times a week?
I am going to get the CC star tonight and try it out with a couple more large turbos.
I'll start slow with them, and see if they survive before adding more.
thanks

Also does the CC Starfish endanger any fish, particularly the Dragon Wrasse (sand dweller) that I intend to add next ? TIA

the cc isn't a fish killer it eats of the glass pluss i spot feed it a shrimp every once in a while. Yeah the fish eat a little bit of food every so often daily and they eat it all every time
