this is our new fish buck and part of a new zoo rock.
thre are thousands of zoos on this rock and about 10 different colors. everythign from blue to the brightest green i have seen so far. I just got them into the tank so this is the only side that has opened so fr. i spent all night fraging this rock so its not very happy with me lol. the pic of the green do them no justice what soever. they seem to glow in the tank even with light off.

Those are some nice zoos. I must say that is some of the coolest looking coraline algae growth I have ever seen. You are the bomb with the zoos......

thanks our tank rocks are about 90 % covered in coraline. we even now have some that is growing our from the rocks like a plate coral. erhe is a few plain old rock shots and a full tank shot from about 5 min ago. a few of the lights just turned off so the pics look a bit funny. if you notice on the main tank shot there is a perfect straight line on the over flow.
We moved our tank to a new part of the house and had to drain half the water. in the time it took us to move the tank and refill it al the coraline above the water line died. looks kinda funny but its growing back already. as for zoas they are a favorite of mine. we have over 20 different color combos and types now. if you count my frag tanks we have over 100

Wow...really...wow. I can't wait for my tank to look even half as beautiful!! Getting there, slow but sure...my coraline is just in the process of starting to pop. I've got a calcium test to try to figure out where I'm at with that, but I haven't had a chance to try to figure it out properly...given time, here's hoping.

not really/ high water quality. and keep your cal up. at first we used to use Carline stimulator by florida aqua farms but soon after we stoped becasue the growth was so high. now we cant keep the stuff back. its gorw one anything we put into the tank within a week.

thanks a ton nor. no secrets. just lots of reading and after i was done i read some more.
my reef is constantly changing as i learn new things. some good changes some not so good. lots of trial and error. we have had very good luck with our tanks and never had any real problems from the get go.

you alway seem to fine the coolest zoos. I got a couple of new ones the other day, but havent had time to mess with them. one rock has about 50 teeny tny green zoos on it. they are the smallest polyps i have seen. I just love your tank. thanks for sharing

Nice zoos BYW.

I'm not sure. i was making this tread and needed a name since i just got him i did not make one up yet., so i look back at him and decided BUCK lol just seemed to fit.
HE is one of those fish that for some reason only a people name fits. kinda like basset hounds.people names just seem to fit. for instance I have two basset hounds named Fred
and yes both are Fred , original and extra crispy

you will find that most of the super colored zoas are the small kind not the large sand polyps type. the ones above are the large type polyps. more of the rock is opening each day so more pics to come. i'm am in awe at how bright the greens are. froma ccross the room they grab your attention like a neon sign. wish i could get a pic that shows that.

That's great to know...since I bought a mushroom rock yesterday...but that's IT (for now). I've also kinda rearranged everybody to more appropriate spots in my tank, and everyone is looking very happy and healthy at this point. I did a water change this morning as well, just 5%, since I was told that would be plenty to every week...hope that's right.
Again, you're tank looks awesome...can't wait to get more and more color and movement in mine.
