I completed my tank switch today. I turned my 55g FO into a reef and tore down my 37g reef. I lost a few corals and a clownfish. Mostly all I have in it now is a coral beuty and some zoo's and shrooms. I have 80 lbs of LS, and about 35 lbs LR(I know, Im getting more.)
For filtration I have...
HOB eco system
Prism deluxe skimmer(I know everyone hates them, but Ive had mine for a year and it still works good)
Magnum 350 canister(I know this is unecessary, but my adad doesnt believe me and is making me keep it on... its his tank too)
I also have a cpr sump that I had on my 37, but I dont have it put on there yet because it sucks so I am changing it up and putting bio balls in it instead of the CPR bio bales. I also have a generic in sump skimmer in it that seems to work ok so I figure I'll use it until I can get a bigger and better skimmer.
