New approach to cyano.

Let me check my facts...
Run it in the sump only!
Remove it when it looks translucent.
Prune it regularly.
Run the light 24/7.
What if it does go sexual in my sump?
How can I prevent it from spreading to my DT?
I'm not sold on this, I am just considering it.

I've gotten it from LFS before, mixed in with chaeto.
I'm not 100% sure that's what it was, because I picked it out and threw it away.
I think Cali may be the one of the only places with a ban on it, but I'm not sure.

UPDATE: My tank is currently cyano free.
About 5 days or so after I did that water change, I noticed an immediate increase of cyano. It was as I put it then, back to normal. I was going to get on here and call it a failure the next day, but to my surprise, the cyano was half as bad. Over the next few days, it continued to decrease on it's own. Now there is none to be seen.
I don't know why it did this, but it did.
But I'm content. I have also decided to buy some more chaeto...as I only have a tiny bit.
