well on Friday we finally picked out a bengal kitten for the new home! We got a bengal in hopes that leia would not be allergic to it as they are supposed to be great for people with allergies..she is an F5...she has been to the breeders house twice and so far not a single reaction to her cats(which she had a good 15 or so) here are two pics of the little lady so far..one is real fuzzy sorry, try to scan a couple better ones....any name suggestions??

when I first got my cat I didn't have it named for about 10 days. It took me a while i tried it all. I was just sitting in my room and saw a box from a pair of shoes "dexter" (golf & bowling shoe brand). I saw that and I said perfect!
Let the name just come - you'll find one

Well since the most famous Bengal is Chad Johnson, I nominate Uno Cinco as a name, or just drop the Uno. Those of you who are not football fans should know this is the nickname the said wide receiver gave himself. lol

why did you have to get rid of your dog, thats really sad, cant stand to get rid of an animal it breaks my heart
do you know if its a boy or girl
if its a boy you should name it koda, little billy,o'mally(the alley cat)
if its a girl, grace,sunny

Awwww, she's so cute Luke. Kind of looks like a Sheba.
Sorry to hear about your girlfriend's allergies. I can relate, we had a dachshund that was fine for the first two weeks and then both our youngest daughter and I had severe reactions to him. I wound up in the hospital that time and poor Rufus wound up being an outside pet until he passed away a few years ago.
Before we got our baby that we have now, I did tons of allergy research and we finally got a Cairn/Rat Terrier mix. Hieronymus is the best thing that ever happened to us!

Beautiful kitten... I had a bengal named bailey.
I assume that you are familiar with this breed. Awesome personalities but definitely attention whores. Are you going to have him/her declawed? Is she going to an indoor or outdoor cat?

thanks all! I had to get rid of my dog (beagal pekenese mix) because my fiance has allergies and would die just being around him a little bit...luckily my family took him so i still get to see him when i visit family back up north

I think the other half wants to call her( it will be a girl) Soukie...she brought it up a while back and i said ok...then she changed her mind, but now its back so it looks like that may have won.
She'll be an inside cat and will most likely be declawed..i've heard so many great things about these cats and everything they do(walk,fetch,etc)...plus i love animals so it'll be nice to have another little critter walking around to play with.

Oh, and bengal is a mix of a asian leopard cat and housecat....this is a F5(5th generation.)
