my new bta is covering my zoas! i cant move the rock, can i move the zoas off the rock without harming them?

if you get a razorblade and VERY VERY carefully cut the zoas right where they meet the rock, they should be fine. The only problem here is that you chance cutting the anemone, which would probably kill it, and you also risk getting stung, so wear latex gloves and pull them up as high as they will go.
You may lose a few zoas, but if you cut them right at the rock, or try and get some of the rock with the zoas you should get most off safe

I just helped a friend with this exact same problem......take a credit card or something like it I.D. card etc. and slowly take up the ends of the anemone. Just make sure you do it slowly and just work it up from the edges, try not to "pinch" the anemone but just try to get under it. It takes a a few minutes so be patient and it will work fine. Just remember to be patient and take your time.
