new bulbs

this is probably a hotly debated topic here but i am intrested in getting new bulbs since my current ones are 2 years old. what does everyone suggest light size is 36 inch powercompact right now with 50/50 (2 bulbs) but i think i need new bulbs because of the age. There are so many choices and i wanna make the right one so anyone with any experience here with powercompacts please share your wisdom

Well I'm assuming you have at least soft coral? right? I'd keep the bulbs 50/50. And after 2 years the bulbs will make your tank look much nicer!

I always run one actinic and one white bulb with twin power compacts. When they are both on the end result is the same but its nice to be able to run just the actinics in the morning and evening. sunpaq 420/460nm is by far the best actinic pc bulb I've used/seen. the 10k/6700 bulb is also significantly brighter than most others I've used. Matter of fact going from any other bulbs to those is like a night and day difference.
