This is a non flash, NON tripod pic with my new Dimage A1...the anti shake feature works beautifully...I've never been able to take a clear non-flash pic of anything before. I just whipped this thing out of the box a half hour ago, and there is a TON of stuff to figure out...but I had to try it cold...so here it is!

This is the most complicated camera I've ever seen...the manual is 170 pages long in tiny print...gonna have to bust out the reading glasses for it.
The anti-shake thing is truly awesome. I can't wait till later when I try it out on the snakes with a tripod!
I think I'll need another strip of memory though...these huge photo files are slow-loading on my system! Oh well, I need one anyway.

Aren't they the BEST dogs? Crazy and funny and smart and sweet! She's my third husky...and the silliest of all of them

I have said it before........I love your pups coat. Very pretty. She is so white. A house down the street had puppies. PURE white and these drop dead blue eyes. It was all I could do not to get one. They were all gone before they were born practically.

Here's one of my BF's "yellow scarf"...I did put it through a light filter, though...so it's not "raw" like the others....this is a nonflash pic.

Thanks for the nice compliments! I didn't have time to sit down and read the immense manual last night...but did manage to figure some basic things out--like why I was getting too much or too little flash And the macro feature is just not like what I'm used to. I'll post some more shots when I better understand the camera. I'm hoping to finally get THE shot of my green moray!
