Thanks for the compliments.....
It's a Canon SD1000. I had the SD100 that stopped working. Found a recall and Canon sent us a refurb 1000. Nice upgrade for $0.
I took about 100 pics with all the different settings but the best shots were when the MH went out and only the actinics were on.
Overall this is a great camera.

Great shots FISHY!!
I have a Nikon D-70 SLR fancy dancy camera. The problem is that I only know how to use it on Automatic setting. The camera can do so much better, but I have to learn about photography basically to get the most out of it.
My point is---I should just get a camera like the cannon 1000, if you are getting shots like that.
Really nice!!

Yes. If you ever get the opportunity it is worth it. Just have to worry about filling both sides
$$$$$$
When the other camera stopped working, I was looking at the high end but do not use a camera often enough or have an interest in becoming a professional photographer. Lets face it, you spend spend 400+ for a camera and you are getting some equipment that can do some amazing things. In order to use it you have to study the manual for start to finish and also remember how to use each setting in each situation.

I took me about 3 hours to run through the manual and test each setting to see what it does. That is good enough for me.
This a $200 compact camera that does a good job. It's worth the money

Thanks for all the complements...

Thank you....
I am waiting for him to split. Fully open he is 1 1/2 feet wide. He is a monster and keeps getting bigger. He is almost to big for my tank.
