You have 16 individual 36wt T-5's? I have no experience with t5s but that does sound a little bit much. Have you posted in the reef or lighting areas asking for advice?

Great looking pics. It is amazing what a good camera can do. I have the canon xti rebel and I like it. It does have the stock lense and the only part about it I dont like is the zoom capability. I think $100 dollar point and shoots have a better zoom capability. But boy is the autofocus feature nice. Just zoom out to how big you want the image to fill the screen. Tap the autofocus and there is a good pic. I am probably the worlds worst photographer so it works for me.

how could you compare the zoom of a P&S to a XTi with the stock lens..thats only a 18-55 range??????
DSLR is to use the right lens for the right application. I got lens to cover 10mm-500mm I dont think P&S is gonna cover that and be anywhere near the quality.

How many gallons is the frag tank? What lights and do you dose or have a reactor with all of those SPS. I have got to get a decent camera. I have a 100G frag tank, 2 X 175 MHs and dose. I will buy all of the non acro little frags you want to muster up if you are looking for a mass exodus to make room. Very nice frag tank! Camera, camera, camera!

The 18-135 VR lens didn't arrive. These shots are with the 55-200 using the VR, not bad
I'm really amazed at the details.

Grumpy, the tank is a cheap 84g. Using 2 part additives, 30ml x twice a day
14k 250w Phoenix on left side
20k 250w Aqualine on right side
halfway decent skimmer and a fuge loaded with chaeto
Nice caps, love the purple one...

I have to agree 100% 05XRunner. A P&S is not going to get anywhere near the quality of a DSLR. Having lots of options with what lense you can use is a great thing as well with the DSLR. I guess my only gripe was that for the amount of $$ I had to spend for the canon xti the stock lense on it should have as least as much zoom capability as a cheap P&S. As soon as I can afford a lense with better zoom capability I am going to upgrade.

Thanks. Do you think the cheato really helps the frag tank?
