new clam??help asap

new clam.how long shoulkd i acclimate it??its been dripping now for about an hour and a half.also is there any certain way i should add the clam??

Always when acclimating you're trying to match the fish stores ph and salinity to your water. So once you test both and they show up the same, then you are done. If that takes you 1 minute or 100 hours...... thats your call
Place the clam in the sand. What kinda lighting are you working with?

i have ten watts per gallon on my ten gallon using the powerquad coralife light which ive seen people keep it under.if he doesnt work my friend is going to buy him from me and he has halides so it all depends on how the clam does.i got him for 15 bucks.
