That is GORGEOUS! I just love the beautiful patterns of those clams! Maybe someday I'll get the guts to try one!

croceas are nice clams i have two in my tank ....
looks very nice like the coloring.... im assuming u already have the proper lighting

yup 500 watts DE on a 90 gallon tank. but this is not the picture i took. the picture i took looked really bad so i ttok the picture of the website I bought it from. It was a WYSIWYG for 59.99 US GREENS

Nice clam, looks somewhat like my own. The spots do look like the teardrops on a maxima, but it is 100% crocea. Just call it a teardrop crocea. :)

yeah some croceas have some interesting color patterns ive seen many different ones .... but i do like yours looks cool!

Thanks for the comments every one... I'm going to see how this does then i think ill get more in about 1 or 2 months. this one was a Birth day gift but it came a day early so im happy. although it would have been nice for it to come on 1/7

Wow it does look close to yours Viper. except yours is more Blue. mine looks more of a purple black color.
