New Clam

I just got a new clam for my tank - tanks been up for 1.5 years. I have 2 175 MHs and 96 watts of attinic. The clam is on the sand bed now. Should I leave it there or does it need to be on a rock or higher in the tank. The tank is a 45 gal bow tank.

croceas which is what yours is is a rock boring clam and is the most light demanding. up as high as possible
