Does it seem to be losing color? I bought a maroon last month and after a few weeks he started losing color and staying on the sides and corners of the tank. He did this for a couple of more weeks and then he just died. Didn't appear to have any diseases or injuries, just faded away basically.

Mine do the same thing. I bought 2 black and white percs yesterday and put them in QT and they are just staying in one corner and not really moving out of it. there is nothing else in my tank except 1 small 2lb LR. they also are not eating i dont think. Maybe this is just something they do for awhile before they get used to new tank.

It is commmon for new clown arrivals to hang out near a top corner, but 2 weeks seems a little long. I dont think its seeing a reflection. A fish looking out through a single pane of glass is not getting a reflection.. just like when you look in through a single pane, you dont see a reflection. (stick your head in and give it a try (J/K)
When you look through the front and try to see out the side, the two pains of glass at a 90 degree angle are causing the refraction which creates the reflection.
Are there any other fish that are pestering the clown?
are there any places for the clown to hide in/host in/call home?

he side of the tank? well unless you got an anemone or pot that he likes, he ma be hosting on the side of the tank. they do that if they can't find a suitable host they like.

Well the two clowns i had in my QT , 1 has died and the other is still just swimming in place in the one corner. They dont really appear to be sick or have any parasites on them. Like before i noticed it died it was starting to swim all around the tank and then i came home like 1 hour later and it is dead :( Dont know what happen to it. So sad about it.

I have had my clwon for over a week and he has done the same thing. He just sits and kinda chills in the corner of the tank.Today he started to swim around and play with the current. At first, i wanted to trade my girlfriend for another fish, but hopefully the clown adapts and become more friendly and fun to watch. Does anyone know about clown personalities?
--Oh yes, and why is it so hard to take a pic of a clown?

Clowns don't necessarily need an anemone in order to claim something in a tank as their own. My GSM hosts my bubble coral and I've even heard of clowns hosting powerheads, so in a sense, anything goes
