i just bought two new wild tomato clowns today and put them in my tank which has had an anemone in it for about two weeks, i took the old clowns back. the problem is one of the tomatos took to the anemone after a few hours and the other one still hasnt. will he in time? should i "help" him find it with my hand or anything? the lady at the pet store garunteed they would both take to the anemone. its a long tentacle by the way.

Welcome to the boards! Your LFS gave you the usual garbage statements that they all like to give. She cannot guarantee that they will take to the anemone at all. One will be male and one will become female. The female will be in the anemone most of the time. They will both be in it at night, likely, or she may kick him out. He knows where it is and does not need help at all. Why did you take the other pair back?

its been a day and the first one still uses the anemone and it looks like it keeps chasing the other one away whenever the second tries to get near the anemone. will they still become a pair or is it just to early to tell?
