New Coral Help!!!

today i have 2 soft corals being delivered..1 green shroom and 1 green hairy...any tips on acclimation..or just the standard drip, then drop em in the tank...or can i place them on rocks without being stung?

I drip acc mine for a few hours and then stuff them in a hole in a rock and net them down. If you drop them in with out securing them, they will more than likely end up in an unwanted area and you will never see them again

you should be ok... :D
shrooms aren't known for stinging.. although they have stingers, their stingers have become small, less potent compared to some other corals.. other corals/inverts you should be wary of are palthoas and anemones....

awesome..the two coming are shrooms, so ill be okay for now..later along in my tank, with more experience, ill start upgrading lights and move in a few anemones..but prob not for a year or two..ill stick to simple ones for now

Yep... they are killers! Just pick em up and stuff em in. You will be fine. Try to do this out side of the tank as they will release stuff as u mess with them and you want to try to keep this out of your tank if possible
