New Corals Today & Lights

I got some more goodies today - I just want to make sure I don't make any mistakes. I am such an idiot sometimes because I don't write down the names of the corals then I forget, so please be patient with me and we can figure out the SPS corals,
SPS - acropora - yellow - placement up high
SPS - birdsnest brown - I think (I am so bad with remembering names) - placement up high
LPS - elegance coral - mid height - med flow - well away from everything
LPS - acan - low in tank - med flow.
Also I am floating the bags right now - I have read here to FW dip all your corals for 30 seconds in RO water at same temp as DT, did I miss anything - yes pictures later I got the ATI super blue and ATI purple plus.

I believe the elegance coral should be on the sand
The rest sounds ok....make sure the water is the same ph too

I have read elegance can be on rocks as well - mid light.

Thanks meowzer, the elegance coral is really starting to open up, the acan doesn't look so great yet. What should I watch out for with the SPS corals. And the new light bulbs are great what a differnce in colors

Just make sure your water parameters stay good....

I will watch it closely, the birdsnest is right next to some yellow polyps is that a problem

First one looks like a tabling acropora. Here is mine

and the other a red millipora.Here is mine

That is how there are supposed to look, nice stuff Henry, If I don't see extentions like those I think we will have to talk. have any more pictures of SPS corals - and did you see the left side of my tank I moved a few things around and hopefully the acropora is the eye catcher.

Yes I did, that acro should grow out wonderfully from there and be a real eye catcher!

Thanks again Henry - I just looked at the new corals and the millipora looks like it has some extentions at the base. Should be interesting to see these grow hopefully.

What kind of a crab is he, and is it a bad one, good thing for FW dips I guess.
