My husband and I bought a piece of live rock with button polyps, when we got it home we realized there was something else on it. It is round like an anemone but has red feathery small thick tenicles, it has a mouth in the center, lays flat on the rock and likes brine shrimp.
Thanks In Advance

Do a search on aiptasia and see if your hitchhiker looks like it. These are a nuisance anemone and need to be taken care of before they become a problem. Otherwise without a picture it is hard to tell. Welcome to the boards.

I have tried posting some pics, but since I am new to the website, it wont let me attach any pics! I have looked up all suggestions and still nothing

I want to move it, cause I dont want it hurting my button polyps, but i'm just not sure how the back side of it kinda resembles a anemone, but I have searched anemones and still cant find anything.
