I'd been eying a nice Diamond Goby at my LFS for the past few weeks and I picked him up yesterday afternoon. He's about 3 inches long right now and after acclimating him for about an hour he went into my tank. Within 5 minutes he was already sifting through my sand and had turned up about 12 of the surface area of my sandbed after a few hours. He even went after some mysis when I fed the tank last night. The tank is a 75 gallon with 100 lbs of LR and about a 2.5 inch sandbed. The tank is covered with eggcrates to keep him from jumping.
Does anyone have any specific experience with these guys that I should know about? I did do the research and I believe that I should be fine with him for the long term.
