I just got my first Duncan frag for $10 and put it in my tank. It's a 90 gal. Where should I put it; I always see them on the sand bed. I have 4x96 pc and I have good flow. Would it be fine if I put it on the sand bed were there is good flow?
I'll post some pics once it opens up later

Ok, so somewhere with a little less flow then. What about the lighting, do you think that's enough to keep it on the sand bed?

duncan can tolerate low to high light. the flow should be low though, to get full polyp extension.

You can place them in the lower half of the tank. Just make shure to feed them once or twice a week with cyclop eze or mysis. Mine went from 3 polyps to 20 in about 3 months!!

Damn, I plan on feeding once or twice a week. I already feed my hammer, frogspawn and some zoas a mixture of frozen krill, mysis and cyclo. They all seem to like that.

Duncan will take that. Itll eat just about anything, and might I add it eats very quick.
Mine is up to 5 babies growing at the base of the lone head I have. 3 are almost the size of a dime when extended
