hi there, just aquired my hubbie's work aquarium, eventhough we have it serviced, i got some other new fish, all are doing well, we've had some casualties with corals, but i'm keeping it an all aggressive fish tank...now i put in an emporer snapper and he seems to be cornered by all, mostly the picasso trigger and tang now wants to be where he is, it hasn't moved around to the bottom of tank, seems to be afraid to do so but ate last night with the rest of the fish and they seemed to be so busy eating that they let it, only question is, will this poor new comer to the tank be able to swim freely or stay cornered??? thanks, chica

We need some info to help you with your problem, What size tank, and how much bigger are the other fish then the snapper? You also know that, that kind of snapper gets pretty big, about 30 in fully grown, I had one and it grew so fast that I had to return it to my lfs. My guess would be that the trigger is picking on him and he might start defending himself and then again he might never. Have you seen anyone picking on him? Good Luck

a snapper has no chance with a trigger unless the snapper can swallow the trigger.. they love to eat and grow fast. in my opinion take it back to the lfs....
