Hello all i went to the new england aquarium yesterday and it was pretty cool. I figured i'd share some of my pictures with you all.
First is the SeaDragon and a few starfish.

Ok last set...if you only knew how big these shrooms were you'd be amazed i think in one theres a full grown dwarf lion sitting on the right of the shrooms for reference...

Amazing these creatures on this planet! Beautiful photography, I almost feel like I've visited the local aquarium! I love to see the many species I wish I could have in my tank at home!!!

awsome pics i loved going there. ALso love going to any aquarium really only thing is most dont have alot of real corals. Well down here in the south they really dont. Very nice pics

thanks alot they have a tank that's 4 stories high that goes up the middle of the place full of sharks and rays and everything else you could imagine and stuff but it was pretty dark so i didn't get any good pictures.

nope sorry no sharks i have a big ray pic if anyone is interested.. I forget the name of the sharks but they might have been reef sharks...and if they were they were full grown...

LOL, we were going to go last week but decided to wait since it was school vacation. How were the exhibits overall? I havn't been in 4 or 5 years. I did take a trip to the Mystic Seaport Aquarium over the summer. Ever been there?

No where is it? i Want to go!....The new England Aquarium was pretty nice not as good as i thought. There was only 2 smaller live reef tanks and there wasn't to much of a variety overall. But still worth the trip

i have good pics of the 4 story aquarium on a disposable. but i dont have a scanner. i saw a HUGE porc puffer and stuff like that. did u look at any fw exhibits? there were some big pacu, an electric eel (fw), and they had a red tailed catfish. if u dont know what it is than google it. its an amazing fish

JEez.. i havent been to either in a good coupple of years.. funny though, i was thinking about taking a ride into boston... atleast took at different fish then the ones at the LFS!!

If you do a search on Mystic CT it should come up. Many of their animals are on outside so I wouldn't plan a trip uintil Spring, but they have Beluga Whales (sp?) which were pretty cool to see. The reef tanks were disapointing but they did have a much smaller version of the NEA's 4 story tank which I could have watched for hours. You took some gorgeous pics by the way, now I REALLY can't wait to go. :joy:

Yea the puffers were massive. And i saw one catfish that could bite my arm off haha.
There's got to be a coral reef somewhere in an aquarium that will blow my socks off...just got to find it or save 5 grand to go on a barrier reef trip haha
