I have a 220 gal tank and I brought home a emperior angel.. he
is not eating and has some white spots on him.. I have been reading and am going to get a qt/ht today.. but i was wondering since i put him in my 220 already now for 2 days do i need to treat
the main tank.. or just pull out the angel and put in ht... i have a fo tank... , or should i just treat the whole main tank? I have 3 hermit crabs.. they are the only inverts i have...
Thanks..

first things first. that is the only fish you have in the tank? what else is in their? just the hermits? live rock? snails?
how long has the tank been set up?
do the white spots look like salt specs?

THis is the last fish I baught,, I have a blue tang, 4 damsels, a nauso tang, 2 donimoe damsels, 2 percula clowns.. 1 dwarf red angel.. and the emperor angel... , I do not see signs of the spots on any other fish.. just the emperor angel,, they look like fleks of salt... he is very timid and the large blue tang , keeps picking at his tail fin.. he has bit about half of it off.. should I just take the
emperor angel out for good,.. and do a hypo on the main tank..
because i was thinking that if I get him healed up and put him back in the tank hell get harrased by the tang again.. or will he eventually leave him alone..
Thanks....

You really need to treat all those fish. Ich is highly contagious. You say you have a FO? If that means that you have no live rock, hermits, inverts, corals, then you can perform hyposalinity right in your main tank. This treatment is harmless to the tank, as long as the tank is strictly FISH ONLY. With that many fish, that is your best option.
