thanks, i feed my other fish, frozen mysis shrimp brine shrimp flake, pellets algae sheets so hopefully she start eating some of these foods
....and include some meaty seafood items from the grocery store; shrimp, squid, scallop, etc. Just keep some cut-up in the freezer. triggers are big carnivores and need this sort of food. Also, I'd add a vitamin to your list, like Selcon. Just soak the pellets in it once in a while.

Never feed food that isn't at least room temp.

Just curious why should the food be room temp? For it to thaw do you just place it out during the day or do you put it in the refrigerator and let it thaw there?

I don't know for sure; but common sense tells me that a cold-blooded fish, that has never eaten anything that wasn't about the same temp as its body temp, would get a real system shock if it swallowed a frozen chunk of anything. I just thaw food in a cup of tank water. I never defrost more than I'm feeding, so defrosting just takes a few mins. If you want to add vitamins, just put the vitamins and food in a cup. How much frozen food are you planning to defrost at once?

Not that much, just as you had stated enough for feeding. I was just curious on how you thawed even that little bit but I guess I could have figured it was somthing simple.

I'm glad she's eating but I think you should change her diet a little. Triggers can't live a healthy life on brine, mysis, freeze dried or krill in general. They need some meaty food in their diet... raw shrimp you buy from the grocery store, squid, clams, scalops. These are human grade foods from the grocery store, not from the pet store. Give these at least a couple of times a week, along with the other stuff you feed your tank.
