Maracyn Two is a tetracycline antibiotic, minocyclin, in a pinch, either will do the same thing. At least that's been my experience.

Its the same thing. Minocyline is the active ingredient of M2.

UPDATE!!!
The Angel is going great!! His eye is looking a lot better. Still a little cloudy. I did treat with Antibiotics for 5 days. I am on the second treatment with the same meds. I waited about a week in between and did a 70% WC on the QT.
I am doing hypo to prevent any Ich coming into the DT. I thought I read some where that the Antibiotics work better with your SG is lower. Who knows this might be why he is looking so much better. I just have a few more weeks and then I will start to bring the SG up.
I can't wait to get the new fish into the DT.

The Angel died!!
He was doing okay (I thought) and on Saturday morning he was under some PVC. I tried to get him out and he started swimming again. He did this all day until he was gone. Super bummed. Oh well.. I guess that I am just not meant to have a Flame Angel in my tank.
I think I will try a coral beauty or maybe a lemon peel. Not for a while though... I need some time. LOL

It's really unfortunate part of this hobby... hate it but we can only hope that all of them will make it...
