new flower pot coral

I got a new coral today. The LFS called it a flower pot coral. It is stony with long polyps comeing off. anyone have any care suggestions.

If it is a flowerpot then the mortality rate is extremely high. They usually require alot of maintnance and very intense lighting.

I know some people who've had success with flower pots by feeding DT's, or some sort of phytoplankton.
Bright light, good current also help. Good luck.

What kind of flower pot? Goniopora or Alveopora? One is hardy (Alveopora), the other isn't (Goniopora).
Depending on the amount of petals you will know. 24 petals on the steam = goniopora. 12 petals for alveopora.
Both require slightly different specs. Let us a know which and will be better able to provide you with more information.
