well my tank is close to the wall, so I didnt cut all the way to the top of the tubing and used two long zip ties to make a plastic chain and screwed a cup hook into the wall behind my tank.
nice, that should make it even easier to add and remove. keep me posted on how it works for you.

When you say 'restock the origional' do you mean the coral has been removed and another is reattached or just 'reinstalling' it back in the bottom of the holder with a new blank tile above it?
Also are you cynoacrolating the origional on the first tiles or using a more natural method?

I just got a dremel last week. It is my new best friend when I frag

I'm looking forward to seeing the next addition to your video fragging assemblage.

When I say restock I mean pull the 6 tiles apart and remove every other one and replace with new blank tiles, so they can spread again.
Cynoacrolating, fancy way to say gluing, yes for the very first time. If I buy a new colony or am cutting up and existing one then i glue the pieces to a new tile after that I let them naturally migrate to the tiles on either side and then restock. I try to always keep two frags of each kind on tiles so I don't have to cut and glue anymore, except for new corals.

this is great!!! i love the idea...only i dont have much space along the back wall with my rock...and i wanted a more firm piece...so i basically used your idea with PVC...and here you are...hangs on the back and can sit a ton of frags on it

then you could also use T's where my first elbows are and add another section...doesn't grow on an incline though like this

thats a cool strip rack bronco, by using multiple t's you could make as many strips as you wanted on the rack, and with a simple modification of drilled holes you could place plugs on the pipe rack too. (or a narrower cut say leave 2/3 of the bottom pipe instead of half. man I love all these Ideas.

really nice Bronco. I just setup a new tank (72 bow), I'll give this a try in my new setup. I'll try multiple levels and post some pics.
Do any of you know if any paint would be safe to paint this pvc?

I wouldnt reccomend painting anything your going to stick into your tank. you could try dying the PVC with food coloring though but even that IMO would be risky.

yea, i'd stay away from paint unless you'd want to spend the money on expoy and its pigment...then you could do that, but that would be a pain...better just go get black pvc if thats the color you want.
