the frag tank is 48x24x15 and is about 80 gallons, the softie tank is 90 gallons and the sump was made from a 55 gallon

couple more questions. what skimmer are you running, and what type of lights do you have over the main tank and the newly added frag tank???

that is a top fathom skimmer, my reef octopus is on the way and will be the permanent skimmer. the lights on the softie tank 4x55 watt actinic compacts and 2x150 mh's. the lights on top of the frag tank are 2x250 mh's.

what made you decide to add a frag tank to your softie system

What made you use glass? Shouldnt you have somekind of support around the outside of the glass at the top and bottom. Like a normal tank. What is the price of Glass + getting it cut?
