I wish those ones were breeding already. They are just babies at 2 months old. They must be practicing for when they grow up.
Thanks for all the great comments guys

Incredible specimens, great photos, what's the all silver frog? I don't think I've ever seen one like that before.

Yes you can house a pair in a 10 gal. Some like to give their frog smore room but i have had many pairs in 10 gals and they have done fine
The whitish one is actually a washed out from the flash mint terriblis they are actually a mint green color.

Culturing FF is actually very easy. You can buy premade media or even make your own. I have not had to buy flies in over 3 years from culturing my own.
It is always best to make sure you can culture them before you get the frogs. Just to be sure. Any time you would like I walk through on how to make them I will be glad to give you directions.

wow thanks i may have to contact you in a little bit. so the flies keep producing? that sounds really good. one thing possibly holding me back from getting some frogs was that i thought i would have to constantly buy more and more flies. i have to do that with crickets and its a pain in the @$$.

No there is no need to keep buying flies. One culture last about 4 week and produces thousands of flies. I make new cultures ever week just in case of a FF crash which does happen ( only once to me so far) Definately nothing like crickets.
Contact me any time you need to. I am happy to help

Here is what I do.
I use 1/2 cup of media and 1/2 cup boiling water. Mix in a 32 oz ff container( deli cup with vented lid)
After it cools I adda pinch of active yeast. Then some excelsior ( shredded wood that you can buy at craft store) or folded coffee filters. Add about 25-50 flies from exsisting culture and put the lid on.
In about 7-10 days it starts producing flies and will continue to produce for about 3-4 weeks. I start news ones weekly.
Next time I make flies I will try to take step by step pics to give you a better idea. It is actually kinda easy once you get the stuff needed to do it.

I knew there had to be a catch
I was thinking about seriously looking into the frog thing. However with my family I KNOW I could not do the fuit fly thing.
Oh well at least I get to look at pictures of your frogs. So would it be too much trouble for you to post some more?

Some of the you can hear calling during that day. They are not nocturnal. They are active during the day.
Sometimes it sounds like a small jungle when you walk into my frog room in the morning after misting them
