Sorry about that...You want about 30% a month. IMO I would try and do it once a week so about 7g a week or 15g every other week.

They are cool but to big for that tank, I would put an add out on craiglist and find another equally cool fish.

30% is 16.5 gallons... not around 28 or am i doing something wrong?

No on the humu humu, and yes it's a little more in water changes but it makes it easier to remember and do a 5g since it's one bucketfull. I am a little under the weather and hopped up on everykind of cold medication so I have no trouble being double checked on my calculations today.

Correct... I should have looked into to the fish a little more because 3 people told me my current stock would be ok. I am just going to slowly but surely get a new tank prolly a 75g, Im a lil short on free space. My trigger is by far the coolest fish i have and I just dont want anything to happen to him.
