ro/di is reverse-osmosis/de-ionized water. it is so pure that the only thing in the water once filtered is probably... nothing. i buy my water but almost everyone on here uses ro/di filters. it is something you hook to your tap and it goes through a few canisters and comes out the other end all krispy klean
do a search for good ro/di units, and make sure to get one that is the apropriate size for your tank
