Thanks sleasia,very kind words. I am trying to finish the lower portion of the tank this week. I have a few days off, so I think I will be able to stain the lower section and get it all finished up (weather permiting). I will post pictures of the final build,hopefully by the weekend.

what size bulbs are you using. I am in preparation to build a new canopy for my 75 gal and I am putting 2 x 400 watt MH's in it.
p.s. dont forget to remove the blue film from the reflectors. My buddy forgot to remove it and melted the plastic, such a mess

Im using 2 175 MH and 320 vho....2 400 on a 75 seems a little high.

Yeah I removed the blue film.
