new inverts

Just got 2 peppermint shrimp, 1 arrow crab, and a hugr turbo snail, ill have to post pics later because my camera is hiding from me

good choice on the 2 pep shrimp ... ever since I got my second peppermint shrimp, my first one has a little more "confidence" and comes out of hiding alot more often...

i know they eat bristle worms, but one crab isnt gonna wipe out an intire population of them.
i also had a six line wrass, they eat bristle worms, but it dissapeared prabably died in a rock

You have a closed system. One of anything is able to wipe out something else.

ill be watching my numbers, if they do become hard to find in the tank and especially if he becomes to aggressinve, ill take him back.
but i do want to keep him(for now, just hope he doesnt piss me off)

Not personally. I just know something about them. I've always thought they were scary :p We used to catch something similar on the shrimp boat (when I was a kid) and they used to scare me... lol

These aren't exactly them.. the species in the Gulf of Mexico have longer legs but a smaller body.. really creepy..

I would think they look exactly like a spider if they diddnt have that barb on there head, what is that thing for anyways?

They do look like spiders and are sometimes referred to as spider crabs. But keep in mind that they are a crab and like all crabs they are opportunistic predators.
