new jawfish is just in the corner not moving...

the new jawfish i got today is just sitting in the corner and hasnt made a home at all. does this sound normal? its been at least an hour or two.

Perfectly normal. My Jawfish did the same thing. Took him about a day to find a home. Give him time, he'll be fine.
