New JBJ HQI Nano

These tanks are very expensive. JBJ is of course known for cracked tanks..so far the I know of 1 JBJ 28 HQI had a crack in it. The problem tends to be the person themselves using a crappy stand. But you never know. It was only up for 3months and it cracked..
Either way, I got a pretty good deal.
I just ordered it and I got the $170 JBJ stand and the Tank, both for $550.00 with no tax.

By the way, Im getting rid of my POS 14gal..its too smalll..and had leaks..AHHHH, im sorry for oceanic lovers, but I hate oceanic...always loved by JBJ 24gal when I had it..and now im going back with JBJ

yea i kno if u go cheap u fail lmao thats y i want the jbj in the first place saves me alot of time and money for more addons, i just would of bought this tank already intill i found out that a chiller is like 300+, well right now if i can find a chiller under 100 or 100 then im goin to buy the chiller and then the tank, or should i just get the tank first and see what my temp rang is with fresh water lol b/c i hear different sides about the temp and evaporation and im just curious what it will be in my house?

dude you can find a chiller under 300. There is the JBJ mini artica (the one I have which works great) for $224 (eeeee-bayyyyy) on ----..that means..you prolly can find it online somewhere even cheeper. Or look for used chillers. You dont need the big $300 ones.. the 1/20hp chillers are good enough for the 24. I would buy the tank to see how the temps are, you also have the other option of buying a computer fan and let it blow over the water which cools the water fast.

---has chillers, but I haven't seen any fit for our tank. And everything is way too expensive. Beware, there was one chiller being advertised on ---- the other day as a mini but it said that it would accomadate a tank up to 25 gallons (the nano), so just be sure that you got the right one.
Did you already received the tank and chiller and set it up?
I would still get this awesome tank bc ur bound to find a chiller.
I waited and researched for close to a year before I decided on this AIO system.

I have the nano artica by JBJ, chiller. Even though it says it can handle up to 25gal..I assure you it will be able to handle the 28 because in reality...the 28gal isnt really a 28..its more of a 25. But I think these chillers are good for up to 30gal. Unless you live in the desert where it is always 110 degrees inside the house and the chiller then has to work overtime. But my chiller prolly only comes on only couple times a day.
