New Kitten

Last saturday my daughters cat got out of the house and sadly hit by a car right in front of our house. My daughter had this cat since she was 2 so she was devestated that Mr. Snuggles was killed.
I decided to get her a new kitty tonight, the person I cant wait to see her reaction to it
So now our pet count in this house is:
1 - Black Lab
1 - Kitten
2 - Gerbils
3 - Fire Bellied Toads
110 Gallon Reef
30 Gallon Freshwater Parrot Fish tank
10 Gallon Beta

So sorry about your loss, new additions help us heal, but we never forget the ones that'll be waiting for us.

I got my new kitten about 3 weeks ago. She's about 3 months old now. I also have a black Pug that's about 5 months old now. They are starting to get along better.

I dont have any kittens cause they always beat up my doggie. He's about there size here goes a pic. So when I see them I really really miss having them.

Well here is an update -- the next morning after I posted this picture I woke my daughter up by putting the kitten on her bed and it immediately attacked her feet - this did the trick and she woke up very happy and has not let the kitten alone since
She is a happy little girl and has named the kitten Smokey - she has also bought him with her allowance money a collar and a leash so she can walk him outside and he can be safe.
Sadly since my daughter is 7 she chose her favorite color colar (pink) for her male cat
But you know what they say it takes a real man to wear pink

lol same here if you really look close you can see his zebra like collar. My daughter also picked it for a male doggy. My husband made a comment once "how am I going to walk him with this leash and collar". I told him not to worry he was man enough for me, and we left it at that.
Howie -I love your kitty, what breed is that? looks like a good cuddler.

Yeah you guys, cough up those pics. Remember, I am having kitten fever thanks to these cute kitten pictures and no way to satistfy it!!!
*Sigh*, I remember when my cats were babies (I have 5). They grow so fast. I miss that so much.

awwww!! i wish i had pictures of my kitties so i could post them here!
i have one named dina who is orange and seasoned (if you call her old she WILL get offended. no joke). She is realy small, and although she doesnt wiegh a lot, she is "festivly plumped" (once again, if you call her "fat" she will definatly get offended and avoid you. A classic ladie she is
i have floffer who is a black and white main coon cat with a realy wide nose and head. We took him in because he was a stray outside of our house for about 2 years. we suspect he was abandoned and abused because any heavy, loud, or fast moving objects, and he gets realy realy skittish. Hes a gentleman kittie who will great you with a few nods and a "raewr?" as you enter the room.
then there is bill, named after the cat form bloomcountry (*ack**ack*) He is also black and white, but has short hair unlike floffer. Hes realy realy big! We got him from the animal shelter as a kitten. he woke up form his sleep jsut as my brother walked by his little pen. Hes just trouble. We love him dearly, but he is just plain trouble! Very cute though! But he got sprayed by a skunk recently (probably thought it was floffer. they have a similar coloring and waddle) and is extreamly embarassed. I bet much more than smoky with the pink collar!

here are a couple pics of my cat
this is when they were little, the gray one we had to give away because he was to naughty and my mom only wanted to have one in the house, the gray one always love to play with shopping bags while the black one stayed out and always pounced on him
oh yea in the middle picture, the stuff on my cat is catnip, he spilled the can and decided to roll in it
