hi i am new and i just got a new addition..

and i have a few questions..
does he look healthy?
do you have to spot feed them?
i saw white stuff coming out of him??
thank you any advice is appreciated!

I have never spot fed mine. The white stuff is prob just shedding. They do that from time to time. Just be sure there is enough flow to blow the shed off.

Give him time to acclimate... yes he's shedding.
A good sign of health is the tentacles being fully extended -- which it's trying to do it looks like.
I just fragged mine and the 3 babies are starting to come around. These are pretty hardy and will fully extend tentacles and retract completely even several times a day.

i just looked at him and their is like a piece of skin hanking from him and he is shut is this because of the sheddind?

is their anything i need to do if it is shedding
is this goo or bad?

First of all...as stated above shedding is normal, and will continue...be sure you have adequate flow on the leather to blow the shedding off....The leathers "tentacles" will not stay extended 100% of the time, so do not be alarmed that they are not out all the time

i see the skin flying off him
how long will this take?
does he get bigger when he sheds?

It doesn't really end...(sort of)...It is a continuous process, only not as noticeable or as much at times....and yes, I believe it is part of its growing process...
The leather will also close anytime something rubs against it...like another fish.

do their polyps go in to remove waste (poo lol)
their is a big piece of skin hanging from him can i pull it of or just let the flow take care of it???
