air stones in your. DT can cause pop eye in marine fish as well as harm your corals causing polyp recession. as for the other answer that was given about remving oxygen from the tank is incorrect, thats how protein skimmers operate, so if it was true we would all have dead fish and corals due to oxygen loss. the coral to me looks like a keyana tree.

i first thought kenya tree also, i have a baby blue with brown polyps devils hand leather, then my second thought was obvisouly a devil hand leather. the branches are thick on devil hands, these branches are like my kenya tree thin and pointy. if it is a kenya tree it may have been splitting crazy cause of previous stress before he bought it, thats why it didnt really grow up. it went out so im thinking possible a kenya tree stressed out. there are more knowledgable people that would know more so, we'll see...

Ok... This is a Devil hand.
(Heres my Prize Winning Shot for the contest
)

This is My Colt Coral, it just split

I guess yours probably is a Kenya Tree now that I look closer, The branches are very skinny and appear to have polyps from the tips all the way down.
