So, right now I've got a 48 inch 4-bulb T5 HO by marineland on my 55 gallon...it drives me crazy because it's so loud. I've got quite a few zoas, palys, a beautiful flower pot, some clove polyps, star polyps, several ricordea, puple gorgonian, several different mushrooms, large cocoa worm, bubble tip anemone and long tentacle anemone. Any suggestions on a new light? One that wouldn't bankrupt me?

Yeah, the fans are super loud and I've got the tank in my living room with my 125 gallon and my 29 gallon cichlid tank, so there's already a little sound from all of the tanks, but the fan from my 55 absolutely drives my husband insane when he's watching TV.

imo, its an expensive hobby, might as well spend the extra cash now instead of upgrading later on

I ordered an Odyssea
24" 150 MH w two T5 Actinics for my nano on Friday. My buddy bought the same one for his 29g and is happy as heck with it.
